The history of our company began in 1992. The company's business model was based on innovation and creation of intellectual property - patents, know-how and new technologies.
In September, the first scientific and technical contract was signed with the Ufa Synthetic Spirits Plant (now PJSC Ufaorgsintez).
At the same time, a licence for a method of regeneration of spent calcium-phosphate catalyst was sold to the Sintezkauchuk plant in Togliatti.
A licence for pyranes decomposition was sold to JSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
A subsidiary company under the “Nordshina” trademark was founded. Our company started to develop the trade strategy for wholesale supply of both domestic and foreign car and truck tyres.
A long-term contract was signed with General Electric (GE, USA) conglomerate in order to improve the processes of phenol tar processing obtained in the production of phenol and acetone via cumene method.
In 1997, a licence was sold for the method of preparation of a catalyst to produce isoprene KBF-76 to JSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim (Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan).
In 2001, a licence was sold for the method of obtaining methyl tert-butyl ether.
In 2006, liquid-phase technology of isoprene production from isobutylene and formaldehyde was introduced at JSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim. The economic effect from implementation totalled USD 450 million. Isoprene production capacity was doubled up to 180 thousand tonnes per year.
In 2008, Eurochem-Trade was organised to trade in chemical raw materials. Starting with additives for rubber-technical products, the Eurochem-Trade Ltd. team began to actively develop and expand its product portfolio, increasing co-operation with various countries near and far abroad.
In the same year, two licences were sold to the Sintezkauchuk plant in Togliatti for the production of wood preservatives Aquabor and Boroksan.
Our group of companies has started a comprehensive rebranding of its projects. The new area of fundamental chemical research is represented by the CHEMFRAME™ brand. Eurochem-Trade and Nodshina™ projects received new corporate branding.
STATE PRIZE OF THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN
Three employees of the LLC “SPS EUROCHIM” were awarded with the title "Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of science and technology” for their work about “Industrial technologies for decomposition of oxygen-containing by-products of petrochemical production”.
Three employees of the LLC “SPS EUROCHIM” were awarded with the title “Laureate of the Russian Federation Government Prize in Science and Technology” for their innovative research of “Scientific and Technical Basis, Creation and Industrial Development of Innovative, Environmentally Safe, Resource-Saving Technologies for Production of Isoprene and a Complex of Associated High-Quality Petrochemical Products”.
In 2015, JSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim introduced a technology for decomposition of high-boiling by-products and pyranes.
Professor A.S. Dykman, General Director of LLC “SPS EUROCHIM”, became the only Russian scientist who won the international prize of Giulio Natta. It recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions in chemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering. The award was established in 2013 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Giulio Natta's Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
At the same time a contract was signed with the American company Thermo Fischer for the supply of chromatography reagents.
