Citral Production

SPS EUROCHIM develops the industrial technology for the manufacture of citral using prenol and prenal as starting materials. The technology allows to obtain citral with high selectivity (up to 90%).

Citral is used as an aromatic substance in perfumery and as a flavouring agent in food industry, and also in the production of vitamin A and many chemical substances (ionones, geraniol etc.).
