Other technologies

Our portfolio of technologies includes:

1. Thermocatalytic decomposition of oxygen-containing residue streams of isoprene and styrene production. The technology allows to improve overall yields of the target products, reduce volumes of the by-products being disposed, and to obtain the additional valuable co-products.
Commercialized at OJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim (Tatarstan, Russia).

2. The technology for production of the catalyst for decomposition of cumene hydroperoxide to phenol. Our catalyst affords the decreased formation of hydroxyacetone impurities.

3. Process for methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) production
(Commercialized at OJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim and OJSC TAIF-NK (Tatarstan, Russia)).

4. Technology for the production of HPLC column packing (for the specialized columns for analysis of proteins and carbohydrates) - highly cross-linked polymer microspheres based on styrene-divinylbenzene co-polymer with custom-designed properties.
Commercialized at our own production site.

5. Production process for  calcium boron phosphate catalysts for cyclic acetals decomposition (used in the two-stage isoprene synthesis from formaldehyde and isobutylene).
Commercialized at OJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim (Tatarstan, Russia) and SIBUR Togliatti Ltd. (Togliatti, Russia).

6. Production processes for the catalysts for medium temperature isomerization of pentane-hexane fraction IPM-02, and the adsorbent for purification of gases and liquids from halogen-containing compounds.
Commercialized at CJSC Promyshlennye katalizatory (Ryazan, Russia).

7. Technology of medium temperature isomerization of pentane-hexane fraction (octane number increase for the use in gasoline blending).
Commercialized at  OJSC Ufimsky neftepererabatyvayushchiy zavod (Bashkortostan, Russia).

8. Process for the production of borate ester-based wood preservatives from the by-products of isoprene manufacture.
Commercialized at OJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim (Tatarstan, Russia).
